MMA veteran Nate Diaz admits he felt “lazy and drained” when he began placing on weight for his upcoming boxing match with social media star Jake Paul.
The struggle takes place on August 5 on the American Airways Middle in Dallas, Texas.
Their contest was contracted to happen over ten rounds, with a catchweight of 185 kilos. The bout takes place 10 kilos over the sunshine heavyweight restrict and 15 kilos beneath the heavyweight restrict.
For many of his UFC profession, the 38-year-old Diaz has fought at 155 and 170, giving Paul a giant edge within the struggle.
Diaz clarified that he was gaining weight throughout coaching camp and it was affecting his physique.
“I ate lots of meals and acquired heavier,” Diaz informed the Uncooked Speak podcast. “I felt (slower) at first after I was consuming and making an attempt to placed on weight as a result of I used to be on a weight-reduction plan to achieve weight, consuming all types of issues to get as huge as attainable.
