The Reds introduced a sequence of roster strikes at the moment, with left-hander Alex Younger reinstated from the COVID-19 injured checklist and right-hander Connor Phillips chosen to the roster. In corresponding strikes, outfielder Harrison Bader was positioned on the 10-day injured checklist with a proper groin pressure whereas righty Carson Spiers was optioned to Triple-A. To open a 40-man spot for Phillips, righty Graham Ashcraft was transferred to the 60-day injured checklist.
